Here is what some of our patients are saying:

  • It helps with pain relief.
  • I have better range of motion.
  • It’s helping me with my whip lash.
  • It’s cooler than a tattoo.
  • My knee felt better after the taping.
  • My neck feels better.

Chiropractic: Find the Cause and Fix It!

Mystery Light

When your oil light comes on, what do you do?

You could treat the symptom by spraying paint on the light.  You could have a mechanic remove the light.  You could also pull the fuse that controls the light.

If you want to correct the problem, you should make sure all the seals and valves are tight and add oil to the engine.  By doing this, you correct the problem and save expensive repairs down the road.

Covering up symptoms with medication ignores the real problem and the cause of illness.  Medication can even delay the healing process by weakening the immune system.

Don’t judge your health by how you feel.  The proper function of your nervous system is the key to health. Your nerve function is the primary focus in the office.

Ask Our Patients:

Even though I came in for adjustments from a work injury, I am shocked that it has changed my breathing condition I’ve had for over 2 years.  Glenda S.

All 3 of my children were constantly getting sick and would go from one ear infection to another with constant medication.  My chiropractor encouraged me to have my children checked for pressure on their necks.  After getting adjusted, I noticed we didn’t go to the doctor very often and now I have my kids adjusted when they get sick before I go anywhere else.   Jodi P.

The program we design for you in this office is specific for you and your health needs.  Make sure you take an active roll in your health by being here when you are supposed to and sticking with your care plan.

Thank you for letting us serve you and helping meet your health needs!

Subluxation and the Chiropractic Lifestyle

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

A subluxation occurs when a bone moves out of place and pinches on a nerve.  Wherever that nerve goes, problems will eventually happen.  The top two causes of death in the United States are Heart Disease and Cancer.  Both of these are long term health problems that develop in your body as your health weakens.  Chiropractic adjustments take pressure off your nerves and allow your body to work better and allow you to be at your best.  Every time we adjust you in our office, our focus is to take pressure off your nerves and allow you to be at your best.

Do You Ever Wonder Where Your Symptoms Come From?

Sometimes we have circumstances that take our focus off our health and we choose to put ourselves last and put our health on the back burner.  When that happens and we don’t take care of ourselves, we can begin to lose our health.

We have a choice then.  We can either correct the cause or cover the symptoms.  A symptom is just the fire alarm; it’s not the fire.  We can turn the alarm off by breaking the glass.  Or we can locate the cause of the fire and put the fire out.  So it’s important to discover what the cause of the problem is and begin the process of getting better.

When your body’s function improves, your symptoms usually improve too, because your body knows how to take care of itself.  How can we give our body what it needs to grow and function and remove things from our body that will limit it’s function and health?

It might surprise a patient to find a doctor who does not treat symptoms, but instead looks for the underlying cause and corrects it.

Health is not something you can buy.  It’s something we have the choice of taking responsibility for.  Make sure you ask your doctor to discuss what is causing your health to go down.  Health is not just about feeling good.  It’s about allowing your body to work the way it was intended.

Back Pain and Disc Problems: How Chiropractic Can Help You Get Pain Relief

Saturday, January 16th, 2010
Vertebral column.
Image via Wikipedia

The intervertebral disc is a common culprit in spine related problems.  Its function is widely misunderstood.  Your disc is a small cartilage pad with a jell center (kinda like a jelly doughnut.)  When your disc bulges and the vertebrae misaligns, it pinches on nerves as they leave your spine.  This can cause problems in other areas of your body.  Leg pain, arm pain, numbness, muscle weakness, and inability to go to the restroom properly can all be traced to nerve pressure as it leaves your spine.

The traditional approach to disc problems often ignores spinal function and position.  Conservative chiropractic care is safer and often more effective than back surgery.

The chiropractic approach to disc problems is to restore better motion and position to the spine and the joints.

The care program designed for you is our best recommendation, not just for pain relief, but to return better function to your body.

Clayton Family Chiropractic is More Than Just a Service: It’s a Family Oriented Atmosphere.

Saturday, January 2nd, 2010

I am a semi pro cyclist going to race in Europe for the Johan Bruyneel Cycling Academy so without saying, having my body in tip top shape is one of the most important things to me. After recently getting hit by a car while on a training ride in Atlanta, GA and being a kid from Montana, I had no one to turn to for help until Dr. Clayton came to the rescue. He offered to do an exam, make adjustments where they were needed, and even more importantly, he offered his friendship.

I was invited to spend the Christmas holiday with him and his family where I made lots of new friends and was adjusted for the first time in my life. I went in there with one leg check being about 1 inch shorter than the other, everything in my back and neck cracking, and in lots of pain. After just three adjustments there was no pain, no cracking, and my leg checks were the same length again. With Dr. Claytons’ help, I am now back on the bike and getting stronger than ever.

I want to thank Dr. Clayton and his family for all the help and friendship they provided. Clayton Family Chiropractic is more than just a chiropractic service but a family oriented atmosphere that are looking for more than just your business but your friendship as well.

Dr. Clayton Cooks Cuban Collard Green Soup

Friday, January 1st, 2010

We had a neighbor who was a fantastic cook and invited us as dinner guests often. But, when she invited us over for “Collard Green Soup,” we decided we’d better grab a snack first….because it didn’t sound good at all!

But, we were surprised. It was one of the best soups I’d tasted in my life! Now, I cook it often and it is requested by family, friends and our church group. And now….everyone wants me to share it publicly on my Facebook.

So, my wife filmed the first episode of our new cooking show. Watch it below and leave me a comment!
